I've only had it a few days and it works great so far in our 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. However, it only runs on the high setting because the old motor ruined the resistor. I also ordered the Dorman 973-022 blower motor resistor which will fix that and allow the new motor to work on all settings. I made a mistake and accidently ordered the wrong resistor. The Dorman 973-022 is the one we need for the Grand Caravan Sport with manual temperature settings. Do not buy the more expensive resistor unless your vehicle has automatic temperature control. It was kind of a pain to get the old motor out because you have to tear out some of the tight-fitting insulation under the carpet next to the rear bolt but we got it done. Edit: The Dorman 973-022 is now installed and works great!

Excellent low cost OEM alternative! Full air blowing power as the original, a little most so over the old and dying OEM one. My motor had a dead spot so it would sometime be on the dead spot when I turned it off, so then it wouldn't turn back on until it shook enough to then be off the dead spot. So if your motor sometimes doesn't turn on, it's likely the motor. 5 stars for this low cost part that is nice and quiet, same smooth sound as the original. 1 star for Chrysler putting a 5th screw at the back smashed into the firewall insulation. None of the youtube videos cover it very well. But I spend 90% of my time on that one screw and had to rip up and pull out the insulation right around the screw at the back that you can't see. And is about where the wheel well curve meets the flat of the back wall. Even once you get the insulation cut up and pulled out from around that screw, you will still need some serious patience to get the 8mm socket onto that screw and you will have a better time with a goose neck style extension. I did it without and it's really hard to do. I did not reinstall that 5th screw. Also note you need to make sure the internal flap it turned completely to the right when reinstalling. And the glovebox door unhinges without tools to get it completely out of your way.

WORKS GREAT! Problem is that the Connector will not fit on 1996-2000 Chrysler TOwn and country. You will either have to solder in the new connector, or make an adapter. Its best if you use the old connector of the old one, and then solder and CRIMP on. But overall, PERFECT working item!

As a professional auto mechanic I have installed many TYC products without any trouble that I can recall. They're built much better than more expensive alternatives with the proper plug ends already installed so you don't have to cut and splice in the old plug. Since I'm now the ashamed owner of a Chrysler product ('05 Dodge Grand Caravan (it was free)) I've got a grocery list of work I have to do to this thing to keep it running and everything working well. In my experience TYC products have served me well and unless I have a major problem with them I'm gonna keep using their parts personally and professionally.

Okay, so I apparently didn't need to replace this despite being told to do so. It seemed like my blower was stopping every 5 minutes or so because I got no cold air intermittently. After replacing the last blower motor with this one, I looked at the cabin air filter right next to the blower and it was filthy. I replaced the filter and never had another problem. So, while I didn't really need this product, I am still writing a 5 star review because it does work great and was half the cost of AutoZone and other retailers. If your're having issues with the air going out after 5 to 10 minutes, check/change the air filter first! This thing is NOT easy to change due to the screws in the back of it! We ended up breaking the old blower off and then chose not to put the back screw on because it was a pain.

My old motor was squealing like crazy and burning up resisters. I bought this item for $30 less than the auto parts store. Installed in less than an hour. Not the easiest install due to a screw located at the rear of the motor housing. After wiggling and twisting the old one out and the new in, I was glad it was over. Be aware that the recirculate flap has to be turned all the way clockwise before replacing the gear motor at the bottom. The final result is a quiet fan that moves a lot of air. I highly recommend this motor!

Half the price of local car part stores. High quality part. The old part had to be hit near dash for it to come on and then it would shack, rattle, and roll. After new installation -- smooth high power blowing action. Part was installed on a Chrysler Town and Country.

Thank you for this blower motor, it fit perfectly and hooked up like factory. Runs good as new now, thank you! P.S. There's a screw in the very back that is hard to get to so your going to need a 5/16" socket and 1/4 inch drive ratchet with a universal joint of some kind to reach it(for a Chrysler Pacifica).

Is a direct replacement for the OEM on my 03 Chrysler van with 200k on the odometer. If you are doing the replacement yourself you will need some different socket extensions to reach the screws in the back of the motor, and you will have to rip out the insulation under the carpet to reach the back screws. This is not an easy installation because of the awkward working position. After twisting around to get under the dash and straining my back I decided to remove the passenger seat so that I could lie on the floor of the van and look up at the motor. This worked much better. The nuts holding the seat are under the car and easy to get to. This sounds like more of a "how to" than a product review, but I feel my comments are worth mentioniing. This fan worked great after installation and the price was less than the auto parts store wanted

This TYC 700070 Blower Motor was installed in a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. To my knowledge, the old motor being replaced was original (15 years old). Prior to replacement, the blower motor was creating all kinds of unusual squealing and whistling sounds, some of which were strangely humorous. It sounded like a kid playing a kazoo or a toy recorder. A few short days after this began occurring, the blower motor stopped working suddenly; it had blown the Blower Motor Resistor and melted the electrical plugs for both the resistor and blower. After I took the old motor out, it was quite dirty as you might expect, but more importantly, it would barely spin. In contrast, this new motor is fantastic! It spins nicely, looks and feels well-made. The new part is so quiet, even on high speed settings! I had no problems whatsoever with fitment or specifications. It was an exact fit as I had hoped. As a side-note: installation was not very enjoyable and my long arms did not help. The location and assembly of the blower motor components on this old vehicle is not a shining star of engineering. "Thanks," Dodge... I was able to get this part for $40.39 [06-21-16] which was the best value here on Amazon, compared to other compatible blowers. Couldn't be happier! It runs smoothly and now this van is all ready for travel and leisure!
